Embracing My Why
Most of us go through our busy lives focusing on what we do and how we do it whilst forgetting why we do what we do. I am passionate about bringing women together to support one another along our journeys and tapping into our inner “Why”. Too often we feel alone, and so it is unsurprising that we lose our way. You cannot connect with others if you cannot connect with yourself, no matter how hard you work. We all come into this world whole and complete, and it is only from patterns in our childhood and conditioning from our culture, that we tend to lose our way in life. We become attached to what our children are doing and forget about the light inside of us. Invest in you, and you will invest in them in turn.
I believe that we all can manifest the life we were meant to live, and by connecting to our inner guidance, we rise to that challenge. I am here to guide you along the way. I believe my calling is to guide people to reconnect to themselves and balance their lives physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - giving them the chance they deserve to live a balanced and flourishing life filled with meaning.
At the heart of all my beliefs is that YOU are at the centre of your universe, and when you serve from an overflowing cup those around you will benefit. Whether one-to-one or in groups, I have walked beside my clients and taken the journey with them. These days I am more focused on bringing together the best teams of people to create retreats and challenges for those who need the guidance and space.

My Background
I am a registered dietician. I graduated from Arizona State University with a BS Nutrition and began my career working with HIV/AIDS patients in the mid-1990s, after which I worked in sales roles at a healthcare company. In 2008, following the birth of my second child, I completed an integrative nutrition programme at New York’s Institute of Integrative Nutrition focusing on holistic healing and other elements of integrative nutrition. In addition to my formal studies, I have worked with some key figures from the world of wellness. I have spent almost 10 years attending Reverend Kathryn Anne Barley’s meditation circles and studying with her through one-on-one sessions, where I focused on healing the mind, body and spirit. I always credit Kathryn’s motto of “Create Peace in Your World” as being a driving force for the work that I do today. I have trained under Suzi Lula, Transformational Coach and author of “The Motherhood Evolution”, and Shefali Tsabary, PhD, author of “The Awakened Heart” and “Conscious Parenting”. All are areas of study that are close to my heart and practices.
Since 2009, I have also been active in corporate wellness. Ten years ago, my husband started a global healthcare public relations and advocacy firm, (www.EvokeKyne.com), and I worked with him to create internal programmes and philosophy where we highlighted that employees should always be the most important resource in any company. The company created an environment where Evoke KYNE really was the best place to work, thanks to a wellness programme that prioritised employee wellbeing in all business operations.
Through mindfulness activities, bespoke classes and encouragement towards healthy food and diet choices, we support our own employees, and have gone on to implement the same programmes and benefits in a range of other likeminded corporate setting.
Have a look through our articles and read about how I have created over 20 hugely popular and effective Wellness Challenges for corporate settings, which has helped create a healthy and competitive balance at work and inspire employees to get moving, eating well, meditating and making a difference in their lives and the lives of others. The challenges are all activity-based for maximum participation and benefit, bringing mindful and conscious living practices back to the workplace.
